Fostering Saves Lives
We are always in need of Foster Families to care for our beagles and hounds in their home.
The more we have means that the same few people won’t have to continually care for our beagles and will get a well-deserved rest.
The more foster homes we have the more beagles in need that we can take into our care.
All vet expenses are covered by rescue.
Why people should foster?
Every beagle that our rescue takes into our care from a pound frees up space for another dog in its place and often when the numbers of dogs are low many pounds are then able to extend their stay. Every beagle that we rescue from a puppy mill and take in to our care, stops the cycle of breeding for profit. For most of those beagles a foster is the first time that they have ever experienced love and kindness.
How do I become a Foster Carer?
drop us an email to foster@beaglerescueqld.com.au to get a foster application form
Fill out the foster application form and send it back with photos of your yard and fence line
once everything is ok you can then join our foster gang and join into our private chat
In our chat we organise incoming dogs and who is going to foster and talk all things beagle
Most important thing is to have fun and enjoy all the dogs you foster and know that you are making a big difference in their lives.
